About
BibleMind
BibleMind got its start
as a personal testimony of God and for the purposes of counteracting
the vast amount of false and misleading information regarding religious
matters in the world today. There is no axe to grind or desire to
deface any person or corporate church organization. However, when
you consider the 2000 years since Christ and the apostles walked upon
this earth, it is fairly easy to recognize that over the times, error
of understanding and practices could develop. The apostles dealt with
it during their time when establishing the churches of Corinth, Rome,
Galatia and Ephesus for example, so it is easy to see that errors
exist today. Each individual upon this planet has a responsibility
to seek what the scriptures say and to do precisely what God has instructed
by either command, example or inference as it applies to salvation,
worship and living.
At BibleMind,
the study of God's word is taken from the one and only source that
can insure a proper and cogent understanding of this mortal life...the
Holy Bible. With that in mind, this site has been developed to help
one learn and understand in clear terms what God has to say about
our responsibilities to Him, ourselves and others. No other book is
used or required for substantiation of the information presented here.
God's word is for all time and timeless!
Every
attempt is made to speak the unadulterated truth as recorded in the
scriptures, within proper context and with integrity as to the intent
of meaning. It is well known that anyone can take a "piece of
scripture" and twist it to satisfy selfish purposes. This is
avoided and rebuked (as in our Discussion Forum) as soon as it is
discovered. BibleMind makes the effort to cross reference each scripture
with related scriptures so that you can be sure that the total meaning
is brought to a full and proper understanding.
Finally,
you will find that although scripture is always provided in relevance
to a particular topic, it sometimes may not be requoted within the
page. This is intentional and for the purposes of you picking up your
bible and seeing it for yourself. Where scripture is quoted, it is
taken from either King James (most of the time) or the New International
Version of the bible. Other versions of the bible may do fine but
if you compare several different versions, you'll find that the meaning
appears to change slightly or rather, it doesn't have the impact that
it should. We use almost exclusively some variation of KJV for most
quoted scripture.
Thank
you for visiting this site and it is hoped that you will find the
information presented here to be of immeasurable value in your study
of God's word!
