Religions
The number of religious systems around the world vary greatly. There
is Christianity, Islamic, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Confucian, Jain,
Shinto, and many many more. Most of these religions have a focus on
spiritual development. Some are relatively new and some are very old
but none of them, save Christianity, represent that which is born
of true deity.
Religion is something that is 'taught' and what a person is taught
will shape who and what they believe in. The challenge for all who
seek the authority of the one and only God is to search the texts
of His divine word, the Holy Bible. There have been many prophetic
writers who have eloquently written on matters of life such as to
shape the minds of those wanting souls seeking direction. The problem
with most religions other than Christianity begins with the foundation
of 'who is God' and 'what names does he recognized as His own'.
Here you will find information on these various religions and within
Christianity, the various denominations that
have been created and how they compare with the divine word of God.
The link for Christianity identifies the church of the New Testament
on the premise that the Bible is the true sole authority. The denominations
link speaks to those split from pure Bible teaching.
